After years of minimal renovations to the Felixstowe Tennis Club courts, we were asked to carry out a major renovation.
This included KORO off courts 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9 to a 20 mm depth.
We then powerharrowed the courts to relieve compaction and create tilth for lazer grading. This was done to a 6" depth using a Blecavator.
After Powerharrowing we laser graded using a Blec Laze Grader and Harley Power Rake.
Once the courts were level we then powerharrowed again to make sure everywhere was decompacted to the same depth.
We then put a final finish on all the courts with the Lazer Grader and Power Rake.
Next we seeded using Bar Extreme at 35g per sq/m. and put Everris Pre-Seeder at 40g per sq/m.
Following this we faze-mowed off courts 5, 6, & 7. This removes all of the vegetation off the surface. Then we graden the courts in 4 directions removing any thatch in the soil. Following this 5T of loam dressing was applied, matted in and seeded with Bar Extreme at 25g per sq/m. and fed with Everris Pre-Seeder at a rate of 40g per sq/m.
On courts 10, 11 & 12 we graded them in 4 directions, applied 5T of loam dressing and matted it in. They were seeded with Bar Extreme at 25g per sq/m. and fed with Everris Pre-Seeder at a rate of 40g per sq/m.
